Stocks closed sharply lower across the board Wednesday, with all key S&P sectors in the red, following a batch of weaker-than-expected earnings and as commodities resumed their selloff amid ongoing worries over global growth”.

The DJIA dropped 138.19 points to end the day at 14,618.59, a 1% decline, while the S&P 500 dropped 1.43%. The Nasdaq fell more than 1.8% to close at 3,204.67

  • E2open’s stock was the biggest stock loser today, dropping 25.30% to end the day at $10.48. The stock (EOPN) fell after releasing Q4 financial results and forward looking guidance that disappointed investors.
  • Shares of InnerWorkings were the next highest stock losers dropping 24.18% after the firm reduced its full year forecast.
  • Cirrus Logic’s stock was the third biggest loser after the company’s shares fell 15.69%.

  • Fairway Group (NASDAQ:FWM) soared 33.46% on its first day of trading. The IPO was priced at $13 per share. FWM was today’s highest stock gainer
