Net Income: UNH's Earnings from Operations of $2.1B was 8.69% lower than the $2.3B reported by the company Q1 of 2012.  

EPS/Diluted: UNH's EPS came in at $1.16/common share, which was above the $1.14 market consensus, but 11.45% lower than the $1.31/common share reported last year.
