  • Highlights: Increases in Net Sales, Net Income and Operating Income; EPS increases; Revenue in auto, motorcycle and financials increases; Equity stake in affiliates declines 60.7%; 2014 guidance is for Sales to rise +22.5% and Net Income to rise +58%.
  • Revenue: Honda Motor (HMC)'s consolidated Net Sales and other revenue came in at JPY 2,744.9B (USD 29B), an increase of 14.1% over last year. Analysts were expecting revenue of $27.56B.     
  • Net Income: HMC reported consolidated Operating Income of JPY 135.9B (USD 1.44B), which was an increase of around 21.4% from last year. 
  • EPS: The company reported EPS of JPY 42.03 (USD 0.45), which was an increase of JPY 2.31 (USD 0.02) from the previous year. Average analyst estimate was for an EPS of $0.62.
